Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the Operating Room. Shift: Days, 6:45 am – 7:15 pm. Full-time with call; sign-on bonus of $5,000 for experienced candidates.

You will perform scrub duties, work with licensed staff, and support patient care for diverse age groups under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of Surgical Technology program required.
• BCLS certification required upon hire.
• CST certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Performs necessary duties in scrub role. Takes on greater responsibility in providing patient care demonstrating a higher level critical thinking and problem solving skills. Functions in partnership with licensed staff. Performs patient care duties for clients of various age groups under the direction of a registered nurse.

Qualifications:

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required and
• Graduate of a Surgical Technology program Required

Work Experience

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist Required or
• 3 years of surgical tech experience Required

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
• CST - Certified Surgical Technologist Preferred
