Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayetteville, GA is seeking a Surgical Technologist for a full-time day shift in the Operating Room. You will scrub for procedures, assist licensed staff, and provide patient care with a focus on safety, accuracy and teamwork in a fast-paced surgical setting. Call is required.

Qualifications

• BCLS (Basic Life Support) upon hire required.

Responsibilities

• Performs scrub duties and assists licensed staff in the Operating Room.
• Provides patient care with critical thinking and problem solving in collaboration with the nursing team.

Shift: Days; 6:45 am - 7:15 pm - Call is Required

Sign on Bonus: $5,000 for Experienced Candidates

Responsibilities

Performs necessary duties in scrub role. Takes on greater responsibility in providing patient care demonstrating a higher level critical thinking and problem solving skills. Functions in partnership with licensed staff. Performs patient care duties for clients of various age groups under the direction of a registered nurse.

Qualifications

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required and
• Graduate of a Surgical Technology program Required

Work Experience

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist Required or
• 3 years of surgical tech experience Required

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
• CST - Certified Surgical Technologist Preferred
