Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayetteville, GA, is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the Operating Room. Shifts are days with a call requirement. Full-time position with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for experienced candidates.

Responsibilities include performing scrub duties, supporting patient care with critical thinking, and working with licensed staff to deliver age-appropriate care under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a Surgical Technology program required.
• Certification as Surgical Technologist required.
• 3 years of surgical tech experience required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support upon Hire required.
• CST - Certified Surgical Technologist preferred.

• Performs necessary duties in scrub role.
• Takes on greater responsibility in providing patient care with higher level critical thinking and problem solving.
• Functions in partnership with licensed staff.
• Performs patient care duties for clients of various age groups under the direction of a registered nurse.
