Job summary

SCA Health is seeking a Non-Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team in the United States. You will scrub during operative and other invasive procedures, prepare instruments for processing, and assist with room turnover to keep procedures on schedule.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or GED, have completed a Surgical Technologist program, and bring two years of OR experience; ASC experience and ORT certification are preferred. Pay is $30.00–$36.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certification.
• Completion of Surgical Technologist course.
• Two years previous operating room experience.
• ASC experience preferred.
• ORT certification preferred.
• Training program for surgical technology in US armed forces or National Guard/Public Health Services.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport them to the decontamination areas.
• Assist with post procedure cleaning of the operative or other invasive procedure room and preparation of room for subsequent patients.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
