SCA Health, part of Optum, is hiring a Non-Certified Surgical Technologist for our Orlando, FL facilities. This role supports sterile processing and patient care within a fast-paced surgical environment.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma, complete a Surgical Technologist program, and have prior OR experience. ASC experience and ORT certification are preferred. Training from military programs is a plus. USD 24–30 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certification.
• Completion of Surgical Technologist course.
• Two years previous operating room experience.
• ASC experience preferred.
• ORT certification preferred.
• Training in surgical technology from US armed forces, National Guard or US Public Health Service preferred.

Responsabilités

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport them to the decontamination areas.
• Assist with post procedure cleaning of the operative or other invasive procedure room and preparation of room for subsequent patients.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Connaissances

Two years OR experience

ASC experience preferred

ORT certification preferred
