Job summary

Froedtert Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist/Technician to support the surgical team in a dynamic Wisconsin hospital network. The role requires at least 1 year of surgical experience and completion of a Surgical Technologist program or equivalent training.

A High School diploma or equivalent is required, with BLS certification at hire or within 90 days. The position is 0.8 FTE with a Monday–Friday schedule, on-site work, and a comprehensive benefits package including PTO and career growth

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year surgical experience in Surgical Technologist or Surgical Technician roles.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; post-high school education or certification preferred.
• Completion of Surgical Technologist program or equivalent training; Froedtert Health apprentice program may be required.

• Collaborate with the surgical team to provide patient care and support the hospital's mission.
• Assist in the operating room to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency.

Job Summary

As a member of the healthcare team, collaborates with the surgical team to provide care for patient ensuring that the goals of the patients are met and the mission of the hospital is carried out.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

A minimum of 1 year of Surgical experience is required. Experience can come in any combination in a role as a Surgical Technologist or Surgical Technician.

EDUCATION REQUIRED

High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Post high school education, certification or diploma required. Completion of a Surgical Technologist program, completion of Military Operating Room Specialist course or the Froedtert Health sponsored apprentice II program required.

LICENSURE REQUIRED

American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
