Virginia Commonwealth University Health Systems is building the Chesterfield Pavilion to deliver outpatient surgical care. We are hiring Surgical Technologist II to set up sterile fields, prepare supplies, and support surgeons in the operating room.

Responsibilities include passing instruments, performing counts, and serving as a resource to less experienced technologists. Flexible shifts across days and evenings may apply at this new facility.

Formación

• Minimum of 6 months experience as a Surgical Technologist or related scrub tech position.
• Certification: CST, TS-C or CORST required for hire.
• Registration by the Virginia State Board of Medicine and current BLS/HCP certifications preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Sets up sterile field and gathers supplies for surgical cases.
• Passes instruments to surgeons during surgery.
• Performs count procedures per policy.
