VCU Health is hiring a Surgical Technologist II to support surgical services at Chesterfield Pavilion. The successful candidate will set up sterile fields and assist surgeons during procedures.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma and certification as a Surgical Technologist. Experience in surgical practices is preferred. This role requires working all shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be Registered by the State Board of Medicine.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Tech in Surgery-Certified (TS-C) required.
• Experience in surgical settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up sterile field and gather supplies for surgical cases.
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments during surgery.
• Serve as a preceptor to less experienced Surgical Technologists.
