AdventHealth in Overland Park, Kansas seeks a certified Surgical Tech to support operating rooms, ensuring sterile technique, accurate instrument handling, and patient safety. The role involves scrubbing, gowning, and gloving, preparing sterile fields, and counting instruments with the circulator.

The position requires BLS and CST/NBSTSA certification with 2+ years of experience in a surgical setting. It offers day shifts, full-time hours, and comprehensive benefits from Day One.

Qualificações

• Interpersonal skills required.
• Knowledge of sterile technique and instrumentation.
• Familiarity with sterilization techniques.
• Ability to anticipate emergencies in specialty call scenarios.
• Organize and conduct unit in-services.
• Proficiency in at least two surgical specialties preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Checks supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedures.
• Scrubs, gowns, and gloves for procedures.
• Sets up sterile table with instruments and meds.
• Performs instrument counts with circulator.
• Gowns and gloving for surgeon and team.
• Assist with terminal cleaning and prep for next patient.
• Maintains sterile technique throughout procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
