Job summary

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Surgical Technician Program required.
• 1 year of surgical technician experience or internship required (paid).
• Active CST certification and BLS required.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgical team and perform tasks in the operating room.
• Prepare, sterilize, and clean surgical instruments and equipment.
• Maintain aseptic technique and assist with instrument handling.
• Transport patients, equipment, and specimens.
• Prepare OR and update preference cards for procedures.
• Provide scrub support and anticipate team needs during surgery.
