Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Graduation from an accredited school of surgical technology or surgical technology military program.
• Certified Surgical Technologist credential administered by NBSTSA preferred; new grads must certify within 90 days.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 2 weeks of hire; current BLS required.
• Two years operating room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile supplies and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Perform appropriate room duties involved with direct patient care.
• Function autonomously as a member of the operating room team.
