Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist to support sterile supply prep and operating room duties. You will work as part of a team, assisting with direct patient care under supervision and maintaining high standards of aseptic technique.

The role requires CST certification, BLS, and graduation from an accredited surgical technology program, with a 40-hour workweek and an attractive hourly pay rate plus a $10K sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program or surgical technology military program.
• Minimum of one year of work experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist.
• Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers certification or Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile supplies and equipment used in surgical procedures.
• Perform appropriate room duties involved with direct patient care.
• Work autonomously as a member of the operating room team.
