Job summary

MUSC Health is seeking a Certified Surgical Tech to join the operating room team under the Nurse Manager. The role involves preparing sterile supplies and equipment for procedures and performing direct patient care in the OR setting.

Requires graduation from an accredited surgical technology program and at least one year of CST experience, plus current BLS. This is a part-time position with 24 hours weekly, Sat-Sun 7a-7p, on-call after 7p, with a $10,000 signing bonus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program or military program.
• At least one year of CST work experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile supplies and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Perform room duties involved with direct patient care.
• Function autonomously as a member of the operating room team.
• Assist with other duties such as instrument flow and supply restocking.
