Job summary

Essentia Health's St. Mary’s Hospital Superior in Superior, Wisconsin, seeks a surgical technologist (CST) to support OR procedures under RN supervision. Responsibilities include instrumentation, equipment, prosthesis, and supply management with flexible 8-hour day shifts and occasional on-call rotations.

Relocation assistance is available; travel/floating to Miller Dwan Medical Center and St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth may be required. Certification preferred; BCLS within 1 month of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• Certification as surgical technologist preferred.
• BCLS within 1 month of hire.

Responsibilities

• Functions under the supervision of an RN in providing technical interventions in the operating room to patients of all ages.
• Responsible for instrumentation, equipment, prosthesis, and supplies management.
• May perform other duties as assigned by the department.
