Job summary

Essentia Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join the operating room team at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth, Minnesota.

The role is 0.9 FTE with shifts 7:00 am–3:30 pm, 10:00 am–6:30 pm, and 11:00 pm–7:30 am, on a four‑week rotating schedule including weekends and holidays. Responsibilities include assisting the RN in technical OR interventions, handling instrumentation and supplies, and supporting a high‑acuity surgical environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.

Responsibilities

• Functions under the supervision of an RN in providing technical interventions in the Operating Room to patients of all ages.
• May perform other duties as assigned by the department.
