Responsibilities

• Assist surgical team, maintain sterile technique, patient safety and documentation.
• On-call duties: 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month.

Description:This position is for a CVOR Tech.The unit specializes in open heart procedures.The facility has 2 heart rooms, with a possibility of a third.The team consists of 4 RNs and 3 CSTs.Typically, the patient ratio is 1:1.The equipment used includes EMR Meditech and CPN.Candidates with prior Meditech experience are preferred.Typical procedures performed include CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR.Ideal candidates will be confident, team players with a positive attitude.Patient experience is prioritized.Communication with staff and providers is essential.On-call duties are required, including 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month.The ECMO program is restarting.
