Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Surgical Tech for a CVOR CST assignment in Minneapolis, MN. The role supports cardiovascular surgery teams in CABG, AVR and MVR procedures, with daytime shifts 06:45–15:15 or 14:45–23:15.

Candidates must have 1 year of CVOR experience, hold NBSTSA/NCCT or equivalent and BLS, and be willing to be on call or weekends. Six operating rooms operate in the facility, and floating may be required.

• 1 year of CVOR surgical tech experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in CVOR procedures and maintain aseptic technique.
• Prepare and pass instruments during CABG/AVR/MVR.
• Handle intraoperative tasks and respond to surgeon needs during cases.

Description:Position available for a CVOR Tech.The shift will be 06:45 - 15:15 or 14:45 - 23:15.Experience in cardiac surgery procedures is required, including CABG (on/off pump), AVR, and MVR.Experience with vascular surgery procedures like AAA and endarterectomy is also needed.Types of cases preferred include general, endo/laparoscopic, vascular, thoracic, bariatrics, and transplant.Candidates must have experience with cases such as Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair and Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG).A total of six operating rooms are available in the facility.The ideal candidate must be available for up to two weekends per month and may need to be on call.Floating may be required based on facility needs.Candidates should possess skills in various surgical techniques and aseptic techniques.This position provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic surgical environment.
