Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Surgical Tech - CVOR CST for a 13-week assignment. You will support cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular procedures in a busy CVOR, including CABG, valve surgeries, ECMO, and transplants. The role requires strong clinical skills and 40-hour weeks with on-call duties.

Experience in cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgery is essential, and BLS certification is required. Travel experience is preferred, and scrubs are supplied with color requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgery.
• BLS Certification (AHA) required.
• Strong clinical skills; travel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical tech duties in CVOR, assisting with CABG, valve repair/replacement (open/robotic), ECMO, and transplant procedures.
• Support thoracic surgeries, including robotic, endoscopic, and open approaches.
• Assist with vascular procedures, angiography and percutaneous interventions as needed.
• Adhere to call schedule: 1 night of call per week and 1 weekend per month; 30-minute response time.

Description:The position requires experience in various cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures.Common cases involve cardiac surgeries such as CABG, valve repair/replacement (open and robotic), ECMO, and transplant procedures.Thoracic surgeries include robotic, endoscopic, and open procedures like lung resections, VATS, and esophagostomies.Vascular surgeries involve diagnostic angiography, percutaneous interventions, endarterectomies, and more.Call is mandatory with one night of call per week and one weekend of call per month.Response time for call is 30 minutes.Clinicians may need to float within other services.Surgical scrubs will be provided, and specific color scrubs are mandatory.Successful candidates should have strong clinical skills and experience is a priority.
