Job summary

SUNY Niagara is seeking a Part-Time Surgical Technology Clinical Coordinator – Technical Assistant to oversee clinical education for the Surgical Technology program. The role coordinates clinical experiences, collaborates with instructors, and ensures accreditation standards are met.

Flexible scheduling with possible evenings and site travel may be required. Pay scales: $22.52–$24.76/hour depending on education level.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an education program in Surgical Technology accredited by a national agency.
• Current credential in Surgical Technology through a national certifying body.
• Minimum of three years in OR scrub or Surgical Technology instruction.
• Knowledge of Surgical Technology curriculum and instructional practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of clinical education for Surgical Technology students.
• Administer, organize, and supervise student clinical experiences with on-site instructors.
• Schedule student clinical assignments with clinical affiliates and program leadership.
• Monitor attendance and performance with the on-site instructor using Platinum Planner.
