Qualifications

• Graduate of an education program in surgical technology.
• Credential in surgical technology through an NCCA-accredited cert.
• At least three years of OR or instructional experience in the last five years.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Teaching or instructional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and grade SRT instruction per the program curriculum.
• Place students at clinical sites and monitor practicum progress.
• Provide clinical coordination and documentation for student progression.
• Collaborate with OR leadership and program advisory board.
• Advise students on academics and career goals.
• Attend department meetings and coordinate site assignments.
