SUNY Niagara is hiring a Part Time Nursing Laboratory Technical Assistant for the College of Nursing, Physical Education & Allied Health. The role oversees nursing labs, assists faculty with skills and equipment, and reports to the Dean of Nursing, Physical, and Allied Health.

The position runs late August through May with flexible scheduling. Pay is $21.86/hr for a Bachelor’s degree or lower, and $24.04/hr for a Master’s degree or higher, commensurate with education level.

Qualifications

• Recent experience in an office setting.
• Experience using computers and preparing reports.
• Experience with Excel for data entry and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing laboratory activities and help prepare materials for labs.
• Maintain inventory and ensure equipment is functional and clean.
• Coordinate with nursing faculty on lab scheduling and sign-ups.
• Support students in practicing nursing skills and using lab equipment.
• Document student practice and performance for faculty review.
• Assist with budget preparation and order supplies as needed.
