Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a related discipline; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Graduate of an education program in surgical technology accredited by a recognized accrediting agency.
• Credential in surgical technology through a national certifying program accredited by NCAA.
• At least 3 years of OR scrub or surgical technology instructor experience in the past 5 years.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with students, alumni, faculty, and employer partners.

Responsibilities

• Teach surgical technology courses and supervise student learning.
• Engage in Scholarship of Teaching and Learning to improve instructional practice.
• Provide academic and institutional service as part of faculty duties.
