Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
• Respirator fit test required by KU Health System at hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient transfers and communicate with patients using high service standards.
• Coordinate with health care team regarding room needs and intraoperative follow-up.
• Ensure adequate stocking of emergency and specialty supplies for patient care needs.
• Maintain organized inventory so supplies are accessible to the health care team.
• Support anesthesia to ensure access to required supplies for patient care during procedures.
