Riley Children's Health's Riley Hospital Labor and Delivery unit is seeking a Surgical Technologist for a full-time day shift. The role supports pre-, intra-, and post-operative activities, ensuring proper setup of the sterile field and assisting the surgeon as allowed by policy.
The position requires NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist within four months, BLS, and ongoing CEUs; teamwork with OR staff is essential, and on-call shifts are not mandatory.

With an on-site Sterile Processing Department (SPD), we have quick and efficient access to the supplies and equipment needed for optimal performance. Notably, we are one of the few facilities that does not require surgical technologists to take mandatory on-call shifts. This is a full time, day shift role.
Surgical Skilled Technologists provide service and support before, during, and after surgical procedures. Assists in ensuring the presence and proper arrangement of surgical equipment, supplies and instrumentation in the operating room prior to each operation. Provides assistance to the surgeon in the operating room as allowed by professional and legal standards. Assists in the turnover of the operating room after the procedure ensuring proper routing and/or processing of all specimens, equipment, instrumentation and supplies. Works as a member of the surgical team with surgeons, anesthesiologists, registered nurses, and other surgical personnel.
