Indiana University Health - Riley Hospital Labor and Delivery is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join a leader in innovative fetal surgeries and a collaborative OR team. This full-time, day-shift position supports the surgical team before, during, and after procedures, ensuring proper equipment, supplies and turnover.

Our exceptional, supportive team is equipped with extensive resources, ensuring the highest standards of patient care. With an on-site Sterile Processing Department (SPD), we have quick and efficient access to the supplies and equipment needed for optimal performance. Notably, we are one of the few facilities that does not require surgical technologists to take mandatory on-call shifts. This is a full time, day shift role.
Surgical Skilled Technologists provide service and support before, during, and after surgical procedures. Assists in ensuring the presence and proper arrangement of surgical equipment, supplies and instrumentation in the operating room prior to each operation. Provides assistance to the surgeon in the operating room as allowed by professional and legal standards. Assists in the turnover of the operating room after the procedure ensuring proper routing and/or processing of all specimens, equipment, instrumentation and supplies. Works as a member of the surgical team with surgeons, anesthesiologists, registered nurses, and other surgical personnel.
