Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• BLS through American Heart Association or Red Cross required within new hire period.
• One year of customer service experience and team-environment work.
• One year in Surgical Services Support Tech I or two years leading projects and staffing.

Responsibilities

• Escort and direct patients to appropriate sources for assistance.
• Provide a safe environment for patients and families; ensure quality outcomes.
• Assist Supervisor with daily staffing.
• Monitor and document quality outcomes.
• Maintain patient tracking through electronic tools.
• Coordinate Uniform Room activities (locker assignments, scrubs).
• Properly handle and dispose of hazardous waste.
• Follow infection control and radioactive waste procedures.
