Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Franklin, TN, seeks a Surgery Nurse Manager to lead the unit's daily operations, staffing, and clinical governance, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care across the perioperative services.

You will mentor staff, implement evidence-based practices, collaborate with surgeons and other disciplines, and champion safety and efficiency on the surgical floor. This role offers leadership opportunities within a large healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Associates or RN diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current RN licensure in Tennessee or compact state.
• 5 years of surgical clinical experience with 1–2 years of progressive leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead staffing and personnel management for the unit.
• Oversee daily operations and ensure adherence to standards of care.
• Operationalize evidence-based practices to improve patient safety and outcomes.
• Provide leadership, coaching and counseling to department staff.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to improve patient care delivery.
• Address patient, visitor, or physician concerns promptly and professionally.
