Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience guiding nursing teams in surgical settings.
• Knowledge of staffing, scheduling, and competency assessment.
• Current RN license in Tennessee or compact state.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the surgical unit to ensure safety and quality.
• Recruit, hire, onboard and mentor nursing staff.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other disciplines to improve outcomes.
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures and standards of care.
• Address patient, visitor and staff concerns professionally.
