Job summary
University of California- Davis Health seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide independent advanced level clinical expertise for adult inpatient and selected surgical services. Qualifications
- One year of recent NP experience in an adult inpatient setting.
- Unrestricted California RN license and NP furnishing license.
- California NP board certification or eligible.
- DEA certificate within 3 months of hire.
- ACLS and PALS per UC Davis Health requirements.
- Master's degree or higher in nursing; DNP/PhD preferred.
- Strong communication, judgment, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Clinical practice constitutes the majority of duties (90%).
- Engage in patient education, leadership, and team collaboration.
