Job summary

UC Davis Health in California is seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist / Advanced Practice role to lead complex inpatient medical-surgical care. You will drive evidence-based models, mentor staff, and collaborate with health system leadership to implement new policies.

On-site work with a strong emphasis on clinical leadership and interprofessional education. Requirements include an NP/CNS license in California, relevant board certification, and a master's or doctoral degree in nursing.

Qualifications

• Valid California RN and Advanced Practice license (CNS or NP).
• DEA Certificate within 3 months of hire (if NP licensed).
• National Board Certification in an aligned specialty.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification.
• Master's degree, DNP or PhD in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
• One year or more clinical experience in adult acute care medical-surgical patients.
