Job summary

UC Davis Health seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide advanced clinical expertise in a team-based environment, focusing on both inpatient surgical/medical services and ongoing patient care. Independent decision-making is exercised following assessments and consultations with the attending physician.

Position supports education for patients and staff, leadership in practice, and adherence to Nurse Practice Act standards. Eligible for on-site benefits and career advancement.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of recent experience as a Nurse Practitioner on an adult inpatient surgical or medical service.
• Valid California Registered Nurse License without restriction.
• California Nurse Practitioner Furnishing License.
• California Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) without restriction.
• DEA Certificate within 3 months of hire.
• AHA/Red Cross BLS or UC Davis Health CPR.
• National NP board certification in aligned specialty.
• ACLS within 7 days of hire.
• Master's degree, DNP or PhD in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing.
