Job summary

UC Davis Health is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide independent clinical expertise to inpatients across assigned services. This role handles chronic conditions, routine and acute care, and procedures per approved protocols.

Collaboration with attending physicians and a focus on education and leadership are emphasized. The position requires a California PA license, NCCPA certification, and applicable ACLS/PALS/BLS credentials, with on-site, three twelve-hour shifts per week in the Cypress

Qualifications

• One year of PA experience in an adult inpatient setting.
• California licensed Physician Assistant.
• DEA certificate within 3 months of hire.
• NCCPA board certification.
• AHA/BLS or UC Davis Health CPR.
• ACLS within 7 days of hire.
• PALS within 7 days of hire.
• Master’s degree or PhD in PA program or equivalent.
• Ability to cope with stress and maintain standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-direction and organizational skills.
• Credentialing and billing standards compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent PA clinical expertise on inpatient services.
