Job summary

Baptist Health Lexington is seeking an OR Service Coordinator for the CT/Vascular service line. This role supervises workflow and staff within Surgical Services, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to regulatory standards.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, and either RN or Certified Surgical Technician credentials (or 15 years as a Surgical Technologist). The ideal candidate will focus on improving service efficiency, coordinating equipment, and mentoring

• Experience coordinating surgical service lines or equivalent clinical workflows.

Responsibilities

• Supervise workflow and staff for the CT/Vascular service line.
• Address performance, patient, family, and physician concerns; ensure compliance with accrediting bodies.
• Serve as clinical resource and mentor to staff; coordinate equipment with vendors and managers.
• Manage room turnover and daily surgical scheduling; ensure staff coverage during breaks.
• Monitor budgetary goals and ensure equipment/supply needs are met for patient care.
