Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a Surgical Services RN for a float pool covering Pre-op and PACU in the Greater Charlotte and Winston-Salem area. You will rotate through facilities, providing perioperative care and maintaining high standards of patient safety.

Applicants must hold an NC or compact-state RN license, BLS (ACLS preferred), and have at least 2 years of Pre-OP/PACU experience. The role emphasizes teamwork, clinical judgment, and compassionate communication in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in NC or a compact state.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of Pre-OP and PACU experience.
• Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and communication skills.

: Pre-OpLocation: Candidate will float to both Charlotte and Winston Salem area hospitalsThese RN’s possess the skills, competency and qualifications, as well as a requirement to work in all facilities within a defined market: Greater Charlotte (GCM) AND Greater Winston Salem (GWSM).This group shall be known as the Super Pool. These RNs are a part of Surgical Services. The specialties within the Surgical Services float pool include: Sterile Processing, Operating Room, Pre-Op/Phase II, and PACU.
