Novant Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Float Pool on the Night shift in Hilton Head Island, SC. This full-time role provides flexible coverage across multiple units to maintain continuous quality patient care.

The Float Pool RN will join a team of skilled nurses, delivering safe, compassionate care in a variety of settings while aligning with hospital standards and patient needs. RN licensure in South Carolina is required, with 1 year of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED is required; 4 year/Bachelors' degree preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required; active licensure may require refresher if inactive.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state is required; licensure status must be active.

Responsibilities

• Float Pool RNs provide continuous quality patient care across multiple units during a shift.
• They are part of a resource team and must be able to work in several different clinical areas.

RN Float Pool Full Time Nights Job Summary:

Registered Nurses Float Pool are responsible for providing continuous quality patient care in a variety of settings. The Float Pool RN is part of a resource team that is assigned to varying units during their shift to ensure that patient care needs are met. These RNs possess the skills, competency and qualifications, as well as a requirement to work in several different clinical areas. This group shall be known as the Float Pool. These employees are a part of Patient Care Services. There are three RN teams in the float Pool, RN Team 1, Specialty Track/ICCU, RN Team 2, Inpatient Acute, and RN Team 3, Adult Intensive Care.

What We're Looking For

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
• Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
