Job summary

UHS seeks a Surgical Services Coordinator to ensure surgeon satisfaction and efficient operations in the Surgical Services department. You will coordinate activities across neurosurgery, general surgery, and orthopedics, assist leadership with data analytics and onboarding, and help with procurement of supplies and equipment.

The role requires CST certification or OR experience, BLS, and strong organizational skills to thrive in a high-demand environment with surgeons and staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or higher required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
• Experience with OR procedures and inventory management preferred.
• Organizational skills required; able to work under pressure with surgeons.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities of surgical service lines with focus on neurosurgery, general, and orthopedics.
• Assist leadership in data analytics, reporting, and onboarding of surgeons.
• Develop processes and dashboards; assist in meeting preparations and information boards.
• Procure supplies, equipment and instruments per surgeon preferences and ensure availability.
