Job summary

Arkansas Children's is seeking an experienced Administrative Services Manager for the UAMS Contract - General. The role oversees 20 staff across Surgery Schedulers and Administrative Assistants, manages budgets, hires and trains personnel, and coordinates contractual and procurement activities in collaboration with surgical services leadership.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of administrative/clerical experience with leadership exposure (Aspire program for internal candidates

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years administrative/clerical experience required.
• Prior leadership experience required (or Aspire program completion for internal candidates).
• Oversees administrative functions and budgets, hiring/training and supervising staff.
• Collaborates with multiple hospital departments including surgery services.

Responsibilities

• Assists with the preparation and maintenance of section budgets and contracts.
• Hires, trains, coordinates, and supervises administrative staff.
• Maintains contract billings, equipment purchases, and contract payments.
• Serves as liaison with UAMS and Arkansas Children's departments and physician offices.
• Supports faculty recruitment and residency coordination with GME programs.
