The role oversees 20 staff across Surgery Schedulers and Administrative Assistants, manages budgets, hires and trains personnel, and coordinates contractual and procurement activities in collaboration with surgical services leadership.

Oversees administrative functions. Assists with the preparation and maintenance of all section budgets (e.g., annual, grants, contracts). Hires, trains, coordinates and supervises administrative staff. Maintains contract billings, equipment purchases, and contract payments. Works in collaboration with the hospital leaders of surgery services to include: orthopedics, plastics, general, trauma, burn, urology, dermatology, neurosurgery, otolaryngology, cardiovascular surgery, and other procedural related services.
High school diploma or GED or equivalent
Bachelor's Degree
5 years of relevant experience with HS/GED; or 7 years of experience in lieu of a HS Diploma/GED. Demonstrated readiness through either prior leadership experience, or, for internal candidates, successful completion of the ASPIRE program.
Leadership - 4 years of progressively responsible leadership experience preferred.
