Job summary

Harris Health is seeking a Service Line Coordinator (SLC) to support patient care and coordinate operating room scheduling, instrumentation, and inventory for a designated surgical service line.

In this role you will coordinate onboarding, competencies, and education for staff, provide staffing support, monitor quality metrics, and work closely with nurse clinicians, anesthesia, surgeons, and vendors to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient OR utilization.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred or nursing diploma from an accredited school.
• Active RN licensure in the State of Texas.
• CNOR certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS/PALS for Harris Health System Ambulatory Surgical Centers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate OR schedule, instrumentation, and inventory for a designated surgical service line.
• Manage onboarding, competencies, and staff education for the service line.
• Provide staffing support and monitor quality metrics within the service line.
• Collaborate with anesthesia, surgeons, vendors and nursing leadership to optimize OR utilization.
