CHOC in Orange, California seeks a Surgical Scrub Technician II to support the surgical team. You will handle instruments, supplies and equipment during endoscopic and surgical procedures, ensuring safe, quality patient care under RN, physician and anesthesia supervision.

The role includes assisting with endoscopy, ph probe, PillCam, OB-related procedures, and setting up the Procedure Center/OR according to surgeon preference and patient age. On-call duties may apply.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS required.
• Graduate of Surgical Technology program or military service training preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in endoscopic and surgical procedures and handle instruments and supplies.
• Set up equipment and supplies in the Procedure Center/OR per patient needs and surgeon preference.
• Anticipate surgeon needs and ensure safe, quality patient care during operative/diagnostic procedures.
• May precept new technicians and students and participate in on-call duties.
