Qualifications

• One year of experience in a surgical setting required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a sterile field during procedures.
• Assist the surgical team by passing instruments and supplies.
• Prepare operating rooms before surgeries.
• Document accurately and in a timely manner.

Skills

Ability to perform under pressure

Strong listening and communication skills

Basic computer proficiency

Understanding of sterile techniques

Education

Completion of a post-high school Surgical Technology program

CST or CORT certification preferred

BLS certification preferred
