Job summary

Surgery Partners is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join the operating room team. You will prepare instruments and supplies, assist with patient positioning, and maintain a sterile environment before, during, and after procedures.

As part of the OR team, you will support surgeons and nurses, ensuring safety and efficiency throughout cases. Prior experience is not required beyond current enrollment and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in and actively completing an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment and supplies for procedures.
• Assist with positioning patients safely on the procedure table.
• Maintain the sterile field throughout the surgical case.
• Assist with transfer of patients to stretchers after procedures.
• Assist with instrument decontamination, sterilization and infection prevention.
