Job summary

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the scheduling of procedures with physicians, offices and anesthesiologists according to guidelines.
• Ensures necessary equipment is available for all scheduled procedures.
• Communicates additions, cancellations and special requests of schedule to appropriate parties.
• Collects patient demographic and insurance data at scheduling time.
• Uses the computerized scheduling system and supports updates as available.
• Serves as preceptor to new employees.
