Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to perform job duties safely and effectively.
• Experience in supervising scheduling staff or related operational roles.
• Knowledge of healthcare scheduling processes and OR utilization is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily work of physician scheduling coordinators and assign tasks.
• Monitor OR utilization, block time, and scheduling workflows for accuracy and efficiency.
• Train and coach staff, develop standard work, and implement process improvements.
• Collaborate with Surgical Services and providers to support onboarding, scheduling needs, and resource planning.
