Job summary

Summit Health is seeking a detail-oriented Surgical Booking Coordinator in New Jersey to manage scheduling for multiple physicians. You will coordinate pre-op and post-op appointments, ensure pre-authorization with insurance, and support surgical supply orders.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate surgical/procedural scheduling and booking for assigned physician(s).
• Prepare patients for surgical or other procedures including pre- and post-op appointments.
• Ensure pre-op requirements are met and transmitted to the surgery facility on time.
• Obtain pre-authorization from insurances for procedures as needed.
• Coordinate ordering of implants and surgical supplies.
• Manage physician office schedules, meetings, and interviews.
• Maintain booking and scheduling records per protocol.
• Liaise with outside vendors to ensure contract compliance and support.
