Job summary

Baptist Health Medical Group in Louisville, KY is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator for the Colorectal Surgery team. This full-time, first-shift role manages in-office and phone scheduling, coordinating procedures in hospital and other facilities, and maintaining accurate patient records.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma and 1–3 years of clerical experience, with familiarity with medical office software and scheduling systems.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years clerical experience in a physician office preferred.
• Experience with scheduling software and medical record systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments for patients in office and by phone for doctors, testing, and procedures.
• Coordinate scheduling with departments (Nurse navigation, Genetics, Oncology, Radiology, etc.).
• Update medical records accordingly and ensure clear communication.
• Scan patient records into OnBase and obtain insurer authorization as needed.
