Job summary

Providence is seeking a dedicated administrator to schedule surgical procedures in our Fullerton clinic. You will prepare clinical data for prior authorization requests, maintain accurate logs, and document the status of authorizations to ensure timely patient care.

Under supervision, you will support the Clinic Manager in daily scheduling activities, collaborate with care teams, and help maintain compliance with payer requirements and internal policies.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED, or equivalent educ/experience.
• 1 year of experience with medical terminology, coding, and medical charting.
• Preferred certifications in Medical Assistant or Front Office Management.

Responsibilities

• Schedule surgical procedures.
• Prepare clinical data for submission of prior authorization.
• Maintain logs and documentation of authorizations status.
