Qualifications

• High school diploma required or equivalent.
• College education or trade school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule surgeries and pre-operative testing.
• Serve as liaison between physicians, patients, hospitals, and surgery centers.
• Obtain precertification/preauthorization from insurers for procedures.
• Verify patient eligibility and coverage for procedures.
• Discuss pre-operative instructions with patients and coordinate with billing for deposits.
• Schedule OR time and pre-operative tests as directed by physicians.
