Minnesota Urology, PA is seeking a Fulltime Surgery Scheduler for our Woodbury Clinic to coordinate surgical cases for physicians. You will schedule procedures, share prep details, arrival times, and locations, and guide patients on insurance and referrals.

You’ll maintain current surgeon calendars, document in the EHR, and confirm authorizations while handling cancellations to minimize disruption. The role requires at least 1 year of surgical scheduling experience, a high school diploma, and

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of surgery scheduling experience in a clinic or hospital setting.
• Advance understanding of Medical terminology; some insurance background is preferred.
• EHR and Microsoft Office experience preferred

Responsabilidades

• Scheduling procedures accurately and coordinating surgical cases for physicians.
• Communicating prep details, arrival times, locations, and insurance/referral guidance.
• Maintaining current physician surgery calendars and documenting in the EHR.
• Confirming needed prior authorizations, referrals, and pre-certifications.
• Managing cancellations/reschedules to reduce disruption for patients and facilities.
