Johnson & Johnson invites enthusiastic Mechatronics Systems Integration Interns to join the Robotics R&D team in Santa Clara. You will contribute hands-on to surgical robotics development, working with mechanical, electrical, software, and clinical engineering disciplines to prototype, test, and refine platforms that improve patient outcomes.

You will gain exposure across robotics, AI/ML, and system integration while collaborating with engineers and mentors in a growth‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Graduate degree in relevant engineering field.
• Plan to return to academic program after internship.
• US work authorization during internship.

Responsibilities

• Support system/subsystem-level surgical robotics development, integration, and testing.
• Identify root cause and resolve issues across mechanical, electrical, software and controls domains.
• Characterize and de-risk design from prototype to subsystem level; analyze tests.
• Develop new test methods and fixtures for integration, test and calibration.
